Fernando Gregório is a Brazilian interdisciplinary artist and AR creator working with performance and mixed reality sculptures. In his art practice, he reflects on the materiality of digital mediums and binaries between humans, nature, and technology through more-than-human storytelling.
Based in Brooklyn, NY, he earned a MPS at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2021. In 2013, Fernando earned a BA in Social Communication – Medialogy at the University of Campinas, in Brazil. Fernando showed his work at "The IV Wrong Biennial" of digital art in 2020 and was part of the SloMoCo residency focused on movement and computing in 2021. His work has been supported by institutions such as the Sundance Interdisciplinary Program, Tisch Graduate Research Fund, and the New York Foundation for the Arts.
